Project Summary:
Anthropogenic emissions of CO2, CH4 and other gases are changing the atmosphere, but the natural and man-made sources and sinks of greenhouse gases remain poorly characterized for much of the planet. No one knows the effect of climate changes on greenhouse gas concentration from natural areas.
As concerning the environmental impact, MPOB has collaborated with our company to supply, deliver and install the advanced environmental control technology called Eddy covariance, meteorological sensors and integrated soil system at Sebauh, Bintulu Sarawak. The method of EC was directly measure the flux density and introduced no disturbance on the system as it also was represented a large upwind area. The overall installation of this project took 16 weeks to complete.
