Highly configurable, our starter kit gives you the foundation to customize a system that's ideal for your farm. Our sales team is happy to work through your unique needs and select products that meet them. For example, we might want to consider wireless sensors to help map true temperature of apple trees on an orchard, or detect potential freeze points for bogs. We can also leverage these wireless sensors to provide soil moisture mapping throughout a berry farm. Currently it is not.
However, NEWA does allow you to display your soil moisture data in its interface, and of course you can always access it through HOBOlink.com to view, alarm, or export this information.
Soil moisture data can help you determine the ideal time for seeding and planting. It can also assist in cases where you may have varying landscapes and irrigation management is critical to optimal production.

RX3000 Soil Monitoring Station
The most flexible remote data logging station from HOBO Data Loggers, the HOBO RX3000 provides instant access to site-specific environmental data anywhere, at any time, via the internet. This configurable station combines the versatility and sensor quality of more expensive systems, an onboard LCD display, and the convenience of plug-and-play operation.
The RX3000 station is the main component of the cost-effective and scalable HOBOnet Field Monitoring System for crop management, environmental research, warehouse, cold chain, and greenhouse operations.

HOBO Weather Station
A compact, rugged, easy-to-deploy, low-cost cellular solution for long-term, reliable field monitoring. With two power options available (a solar panel for extended deployments or user-replaceable batteries for flexible mounting in covered or protected locations), this monitoring station includes inputs for up to five of our research-grade plug-and-play sensors. (Sensors must be purchased separately.)
Configurable station-side alarms trigger immediate notifications of critical conditions, and LI-COR Cloud (formerly HOBOlink) platform makes it easy to view, access, and share data. This station can also be ordered with an additional water level sensor input with integrated flow conversion.
